About this deal

Adrik revealed that Sephie's name is the shortened form of the name Persephone and that she is destined to be the Queen of the Underworld. The sex scenes (between him, Aria, and whatshername) were like cc versions of porn hub (and a real turn off). When she told him what her daily experience with them was always as far as they were there, he was out on the watch until he was able to catch and make an example out of one of the Sephie harassers.

I understand that at times it’s from a different characters point of view but there was too much overlap a couple times. As the author wrote, Adrik consoled Sephie , assuring her that she had been experiencing a nightmare and that Sephie was now safe. It would be said that she was diligently waiting tables at a bar and was the most preferred waitress for the powerful men of the mafia gang in the city anytime they were out for having a good time alongside their weekly/annual meetings.

There were some situations (rarely) where it didn't make sense to me or I was let down, but these were tiny things easily to be overlooked and not important to the progress. Thrust into a world of power plays and dark politics, Sephie must find her footing in a reality far from the life she knew. It’s the last Thursday of the month, which means that all the crime bosses in the city meet at this. Sephie is an ordinary waitress who was saved by the King of the Underworld from a dangerous situation that involved the son of a powerful mafia boss. Each one must find their place in the world to leave their mark on it, while striving to make it just a little brighter with each choice made.Currently, Dragon’s Ice has over four hundred thousand reads and is enjoyed by readers for its unique depiction of the supernatural world.
